Things to know about soy wax candles

Candles can be made out of a variety of different waxes, with each wax having different properties that affect their performance.

Soy wax tends to have a rustic and uneven texture look after the melt pool has cooled. These are natural characteristics of soy and do not mean there is anything wrong with your candle.

All our candles are handcrafted, slight variations may occur “Frosting” crystal formations that appear on the top, as well as the sides of the wax is normal for soy wax due to temperature changes and will not affect the functionality of the wax. Frosting ensures the candle is a true, high quality soy wax and not a byproduct or combination with any other types of wax.

Your soy candle might change its color, taking on different hues of white. This is perfectly normal and can depend on the fragrance!

Soy wax burns cooler than paraffin wax therefore increasing your candles’ life by burning for longer periods of time – up to 50% longer than your typical candle. Soy wax contains no harmful toxins and burns cleaner without creating soot or smoke.

Soy wax is an excellent choice for those who wish to burn more environmentally friendly; it is biodegradable and can be easily cleaned from the jar with warm water and soap. You can reuse the container afterwards.
